Investigación en la Regeneración del Agua y la aplicación de Inteligencia artificial para una agricultura resiliente frente al cambio climático y la escasez hídrica

Project description

The project will develop technological solutions to optimize the management of water resources and enhance the circularity in the agricultural processes. Specifically, Airbus will contribute to develop solutions based on UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) to make agriculture more efficient and adapted to climate change.

The focus will be on using UAS, together with ground robots and satellites, to automate continuous crop monitoring, which would lead to improvements in agricultural processes such as disease detection and prevention, irrigation management, yield optimization, etc. To that aim, the project will involve the development of advanced sensors (to be installed on board the UAS) together with digital twin technologies and advanced UTM (UAS/drone Traffic Management) to manage complex UAS missions.
