Project description
The main objective of the MUFASA project is the development of the Spanish industrial ecosystem that has to meet the upcoming challenges in the automatization of the aerostructures assembly process. It is focused in the components of the non-presurized rear fuselage and the horizontal stabilizer.
MUFASA will optimize these process by reducing its associated time, costs, energy consumption and tooling needs focusing on digitalization and automatization of the processes by robotic technologies.
It will also have an specific work package to investigate the assembly processes and build concepts of a potential new aircraft feed by hydrogen so MUFASA will have a key contribution in the way of the aeronautic decarbonization.
