CORSARIO

Airbus Helicopters España participates in CORSARIO Project which main objective is the development of a satellite communications system SATCOM or DSA (Deep Space Antenna) Ka-band terminal for Rotary Wing Aircraft, equipped with a new distributed antenna technology with ESA electronic pointing and focused on connections with geostationary orbit (GEO) satellites, to increase the communication and control capabilities of rotary wing aircraft, while reducing their environmental impact.

The CORSARIO project (PTAG-20231002) has been subsidized by CDTI and supported by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. It belongs to the call for proposals for the Aeronautical Technology Program 2023, under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, and specifically, to the Communications and Mission Systems category.
