Project description

The purpose of TITAN is to develop new processes, methodologies, business models, and ways of working to design, manufacture, and support the next generation of AIRBUS products through Artificial Intelligence technologies: machine learning, deep learning, massive data processing, and simulation.

The TITAN project focuses on developing a series of methodologies and processes aimed, firstly, at improving the products and services offered by the aeronautical industry to its customers, and secondly, at developing these products and services much more efficiently. TITAN emphasizes two absolutely essential activities: the processes for selecting loads (both external and internal) and the creation of so-called digital twins. These enable the establishment of new and innovative methodologies, as well as the development of a robust process that ensures digital continuity throughout the development process and across the various disciplines involved.

Consequently, TITAN ensures a reduction in costs and time-to-market for aeronautical products while meeting customer expectations regarding quality, safety, and environmental performance by optimizing both design and manufacturing processes.
