LIDER

Airbus Helicopters Spain will investigate and carry out activities for four technological packages within the LIDER project, all of them focused on improving the efficiency, sustainability and decarbonization of four essential elements for the future range of Airbus helicopters.

• ALDI – Disruptive and efficient wing

• ERES – Efficient and sustainable horizontal stabilizer

• BUS – Sustainable Bumper

• CES – Sustainable and efficient aerodynamic fairings.

The objective is to contribute to rotary wing aircraft being more efficient and consuming less fuel by incorporating disruptive and aerodynamically efficient designs and architectures, recyclable materials and more effective manufacturing processes with less environmental impact.

To carry out these activities, Airbus Helicopters Spain has as partners in the consortium: Aciturri-Alestis, IDEC, Mecanizados Vitoria and MTorres. In addition to this, the following Technology Centers will also work: AITIIP, AICIA, AIMPLAS, CTA and CIDAUT.
